Ftp Task

Above is a printscreen of the Ftp Software in use
I have just completed the Ftp task and have spent some time doing the task and exploring the software. i have also read up quite a bit on the uses and functions of the software. i have found it to be very intresting and have seem to understand the use and purpose of it better then i have the telnet software.
By the way, the mising word was CAPITALISATION. It makes sense to me that infomation which is just there on the web, can and should be access years later and that sending and recieving data shouldn't be the only was of accessing informationa and data.
i have realised that all my fellow students have had the same hold-ups as me. Accessing 'recall.curtin.edu.au' was hardly a bother but finding the file wook some time. i couldn't find anyway to search for the file, although i tried, i seemed to be making the search to specific, but i didn't know how to search the whole database. i therefore, went through each folder manually and by luck, i found it within a decent amount of time. Yet this point is something that if i would use this software extensively, i would have to improve on.
I have had a really successful day, and due to this, nothing seems as daunting as it did just few hours ago. I am really happy with the work i have achieved today.
so long for now,

Telnet task-finally
Sorry i haven't written in for ages. I have been in collage so I found it hard to perform most of the tasks that i needed to do. I tried to do the first task the telnet task from a public computer and i had major trouble doing it. i tried all different ways but i was denyed access every time and i couldn't figure out the problem. i did all types of research on the subject and read up on all my fellow students blogs, trying to see if they had the same problem that i had and if they could give me a clue on how to fix it.i spent hours on it. now i have finally managed to try the task out on a private computer and in a second the task was completed without any probems.now i feel so much better about it and i realised that if you have the right tools to do something it can be done in a second. telnet might not be such a bad thing after all. i am going on not to try out the extra cool thing that the task says and see whats going to hppen.
so long for now,

telnet
just tried to do the first task. reading the material was fine but trying to do the task was harder. i think there is a probelm with the computer i am using. it has telnet, but when i tried to connect to library.deakin.edu.au. it didn't worki am going to move on now, and when i use a different computer tomorrow i am going to try again. just remember that when given a task follow the instructions, they are very helpful and when understood correctly, get you where you want to go. so long for now.
